Wordpad एक text - editing प्रोग्राम है जो किसी document को बनाने अथवा edit करने के लिए इस्तेमाल किया जाता है notepad के विपरीत, wordpad में rich formating and graphics, लिए जा सकते हैं और इसमे picture या अन्य document को embed या link कर सकते हैं | Wordpad Window Wordpad का Extension फाइल क्या होती है : Wordpad का Extension नाम .RTF होता है  .RTF का   फुल नाम (Rich Text Format) होता है  Note wordpad में  text document (.txt), rich text document (.rtf), word document (.docx) और openDocument text (.odt) documents. को खोला और सेव किया जा सकता है  Wordpad को मुख्यतः तीन तरीके से Start कर सकते हैं :- २.
