Future Tense

Verb 'To Be' (Future Tense) -  में कोई स्थिति भविष्य में स्थायी रूप से कायम रहेगी। अगर हम किसी व्यक्ति के हाव-भाव और वस्त्र- विन्यास से उसके बारे में किसी भी स्थिति का अंदाज लगाते हैं Future tense कहलाता है।

1. First Person singular - I shall be innocent. मैं निर्दोष होऊँगा

2. First Person Plural - We shall be innocent. हमलोग निर्दोष होंगे। 

3. Second Person - You will be innocent. तुम निर्दोष होगे।

4. Third Person singular - He / She will be innocent. It will be innocent. यह / मोहन निर्दोष होगा।

5. Third Person Plural - The boys will be innocent. वे लोग लड़के निर्दोष होंगे। 

Affirmative Sentence

Structure : S + shall be / will be + Adjective 

Examples:

1. हमलोग उपस्थित रहेंगे। We shall be present.
2. तुम / आप व्यस्त रहेंगे। You will be busy.
3. तुमलोग / आपलोग ईमानदार रहेंगे। You will be honest. 
4. वह भूखी रहेगी। She will be hungry.
5. वह अशिक्षित रहेगा। He will be uneducated.
6. वे लोग असभ्य रहेंगे। They will be uncivilized.
7. अभिषेक और अंकित प्रसन्न रहेंगे। Abhishek and Ankit will be happy.

अब हम ऐसे वाक्यों पर विचार करेंगे, जिनका Structure है-

Structure: Subject + shall be / will be + Noun

Example :

1. शिवम् खिलाड़ी बनेगा / होगा। Shivam will be a player.
2. मैं एक शिक्षक बनूँगा ।  I shall be a teacher. 
3. हमलोग कवि बनेंगे।We shall be poets. 
4. वह वैज्ञानिक बनेगा। He will be a scientist. 
5. आपलोग नेता बनेंगे। You will be leaders. 
6. रीतिका पत्रकार बनेगी। Ritika will be a journalist. 
7. मुन्नू अभिनेता बनेगा ।Munnu will be an actor. 
8. रजनी वकील बनेगी।Rajani will be an advocate.

ध्यान दें: Shall be / Will be का प्रयोग यह दर्शाता है कि कोई स्थिति भविष्य में स्थायी रूप से कायम रहेगी। अगर हम किसी व्यक्ति के हाव-भाव और वस्त्र- विन्यास से डॉक्टर होने का अंदाज लगाते हैं और कहते हैं "वह एक डॉक्टर होगा।" तो इसका अनुवाद "He would be a doctor' होगा और यह वर्तमान समय का बोध करायेगा। यहाँ इसका अनुवाद He will be a doctor नहीं होगा। He will be a doctor का मतलब है कि आनेवाले समय में डॉक्टर बनेगा और उसकी स्थिति बरकरार रहेगी।

ध्यान दें : जब हिन्दी वाक्य के भाव से 'प्रतिज्ञा' या 'दृढ़ निश्चय' का बोध हो, तो First Person के Subject के साथ Will तथा Second और Third Person के Subject के साथ Shall का प्रयोग किया जाता है। ऐसे वाक्यों में कर्त्ता के बाद प्रायः 'अवश्य' शब्द का प्रयोग होता है। नीचे दिये गये उदाहरणों को समझकर अपना Concept Clear करें।

5. हमलोग अवश्य वकील होंगे। We will be advocates. 
6. सोनी अवश्य चित्रकार बनेगी।  Soni shall be a painter.

Negative Sentence

जब Negative Sentence बनाने की आवश्यकता होती है, तो Shall / Will के याद 'Not' तथा Not के बाद be का प्रयोग किया जाता है। इसके बाद कोई पूरक (Complement) आता है।

Structure : S + shall/will + not + be + Other words

Examples: 

1. वह टंकक नहीं बनेगा । He will not be a typist.
2. हमलोग व्यस्त नहीं रहेंगे। We shall not be busy. 
3. वे लोग किसान नहीं बनेंगे। They will not be farmers. 
4. तुमलोग दुःखी नहीं रहोगे। You will not be unhappy.
5. वीणा अभिनेत्री नहीं बनेगी। Veena will not be an actress.

Interrogative Sentence 

जब वाक्य प्रश्नवाचक 'क्या' से प्रारम्भ हो, तो अनुवाद Shall / Will से प्रारम्भ किया जाता है और इसका Structure होता है-

(ii) जब हिन्दी वाक्य के अंत में रहा करेगा/रहा करेगी/रहा करेंगे / रहा करूँगा इत्यादि क्रिया के पहले एक विशेषण हो और उस विशेषण के पहले यदि कोई ऐसा संज्ञा या सर्वनाम हो जिसमें कोई प्रकृतिगत या निहित गुण उस विशेषण के द्वारा व्यक्त किया गया हो, तो ऐसी क्रियाओं की अंग्रेजी वाक्य के कर्त्ता के अनुसार Shall be / Will be होती है।

5. ईमानदार लोग हमेशा खुश रहा करेंगे। The honest will always be happy. 
6. कर्तव्यनिष्ठ आदमी सदा व्यस्त रहा करेगा। A dutiful man will always be busy.
